Q. According to the bible, the devil took jesus to the 'top of a mountain where he could see all the kingdoms of the world'. The devil said that he would give it all to jesus if only jesus would bow down and worship him. Two questions: 1. What mountain is there where it is possible to 'see all the kingdoms of the world'? AND 2. If this is only meant as an allegory, why do christians believe that the existence of a historical jesus is real? Can anyone answer these questions?
